Design Matters Live with Roxane Gay & Debbie Millman

Debbie Millman sits down with critically acclaimed author Roxane Gay for this special live taping of the Design Matters podcast. Listen in as they discuss Gay's creative process, the contemporary writing landscape and an inside look at her latest projects.

Gay is the author of The New York Times best-selling essay collection Bad Feminist, as well as the short story collection Ayiti, the novel An Untamed State, the short story collection Difficult Women, and the memoir Hunger.

For nearly 13 years, Debbie Millman has been hosting Design Matters – the world’s very first podcast about design, and an inquiry into the broader world of creative culture through in-depth conversations with designers, writers, artists, musicians, and other luminaries. The podcast has evolved from a show about design to one that is primarily about how creative people design the trajectory of their lives. In 2011, Design Matters won a Cooper Hewitt National Design Award.
