From 30 for 30 Podcasts, 'Pink Card’ is the first breakout solo series from Peabody award-winning creator, host and executive producer, Shima Oliaee (Radiolab, Dolly Parton’s America). As the World Cup is played in the Middle East for the first time, Shima tells the story of brave women who fight for the simple right to watch a soccer game in Iran. Hear James Kim interview Shima about how the series– equal parts memoir, history and sports drama– came to be reported as Oliaee delves into a 40-year movement to defy a ban on women in Iran’s soccer stadiums.
